QUESTION

I’m seriously thinking about suing my husband’s concierge doctor

Asked on Feb 16th, 2021 on Medical Malpractice - Florida
More details to this question:
I’ve been married for over six years and my husband is becoming more and more hostile towards me. Towards everybody. He has become very irrational and makes very bad impulsive decisions. Financial especially. Lately he is wanting to solve every small argument with a divorce! I’m at my wits end trying to stay in this marriage. I found yet another schedule II script he wrote him a few weeks ago which he doesn’t need and has caused him to be horrible. I know these particular controlled drugs can cause mood and personality changes . His doctor will prescribe anything my husband wants. He is literally his legal drug dealer and I know for a fact this doctor is very aware of my husband’s addiction issues because my husband told me his first wife tried to intervene with this doctor yrs ago. I know this sounds nuts but if my marriage ends I blame this doctor and I want restitution.

"because my husband told me his first wife tried to intervene with this doctor yrs ago." Beyond the fact that you have no ability to sue a doctor for "alienation of affection" the reason your marriage is on the rocks is more likely that you chose poorly in selecting a husband, as its seems any substance abuse or menthal health problems were long standing.  This is a counseling issue and a family law lawyer issue if you can't get the marriage back on track.
