After treatment for MS since 2000 always at a Specialized MS center i have recently been told that I do not have MS. The prescribed drugs made my blood toxic to the point that I believe my doctors thought in 2016 that I was close to death. Could walk couldn't brush my teeth, etc. also for at least 6 years I was unable to walk without an aid (cane or walker). I had to leave my job in about 2002 due to my physical condition getting worst (as a medical assistant). There is a spinal tap test for MS that is a significant indicator that one has MS and it was done in late 2016 and was negative.
First it's important that you know that the statute of limitations to file an action for medical malpractice is 2 1/2 years, and runs either from the time of the injury, or in your case, from the time the continuous treatment by the misdiagnosing md stopped.. This could be tricky depending on how many different mds have treated you over the years, but assuming you were treated by the same one, or at least the same medical center continuously, the statute of limitations started to run after you were correctly diagnosed. You have an excellent case for damages for the years you could not walk due to the incorrect diagnosis and medication.
