Is possible to sue a dentist...?

More details to this question:
Not one but two drill bit broke and left inside the tooth during root canal and a regular filling went to far on the drilling needing a root canal due to the nerve damage...

Possible but not likely on a root canal case unless there are substantial if not catastrophic damages.
