QUESTION

Is this a case worth exploring

Asked on Nov 15th, 2021 on Medical Malpractice - Connecticut
More details to this question:
I believe I was a victim of medical malpractice, however, need advice on my rights and whether I should Invest my time. I was given a steroid epidural due to disc herniations of kenalog-40 on October 29th, 2021. Starting on the 30th, I had a fairly severe reaction including extreme mood swings, personality changes, increased pain and numbness, etc. since then I’ve been to three hospitals, spoken with my pain management team, my primary care, and my neurosurgeon. None of them can answer as to why I reacted like this or how to handle the side effects. I called the manufacturer of kenalog-40, and they went over the medication insert, which says multiple times through, kenalog is not intended to be administered as epidural, is not intended to treat herniated discs. Manufacturers advice is I seek a team of doctors that are capable of reading warning labels on the medication they administer. This has been a major concern as my wife and 4 children are from a dv relationship.

You have a lot of symptoms that may be related to your epidural but you have no medical evidence or doctors giving any correlation. There may be a case here, but i think your damages may be too low to warrant the massive cost it would take to create the foundation for a case.  Unless you want to committ a small fortune to this matter,  I would move on. Also, I'm not certain its medical malpractice or products liability.
