is this malpractice?

Asked on Nov 25th, 2017 on Medical Malpractice - Connecticut
More details to this question:
I was in the emergency room because I attempted suicide and was left unattended and was not restrained. I tried to get up and walk and fell flat on my face and broke my nose and wasn’t told for a couple of days. Should I have been restrained, and is this malpractice?

This does not sound like malpractice.  You should only have been restrained if you were an active and present danger to others or yourself.  Did you slip on anything? Did you trip over something?
