medical issue

More details to this question:
My husband was injured back on January 30 2014 at our home with a tractor and went to the walk in and they cleaned it up and wraped it and said make a follow up appointment with his primary doctor and he went and seen her on that monday she wouldn't take the dressing off and sent him back to the walj him and had them remove it and they said make another follow up appointment with his primary docor again in five days so we called his primary and scheduled another vist with her and went in on that Friday and she refuse to see him and we left . And than probaly a week later he went to the emergency room because it was still hurting and found out it was all in fected and now he had to have part of finger removed because infection ate the bone so I was wondering if I had a claim against my doctor thank you asher myers

It sounds like you may have a malpractice case against his doctor, although it is not clear to me why the doctor refused to see your husband both times. Also, depending on the nature of the injury, accepted standards of care may have required the doctors at the clinic to prophylactically treat your husband with antibiotics. If they failed to do this, that might also be negligence.  contact a local medical malpractice attorney (one in your state).  They take these cases on a contingency basis which means you only have to pay if you succeed.  Additionally, initial consultations are usually free.
