Medical Malpractice result hearing loss

More details to this question:
11/30/2015 went to Doctors Urgent Care for ear wax removal. Left ear was damaged by tech performing removal. Next day pain all day, prescribed meds. Went ENT 12/11/2015 , diagnosed with swollen ear canal ( could not see in ). Meds and appt. 1/15/2016. Hearing test showed no improvement . MRI ordered, referred to Inner ear specialist More hearing tests and CATSCAN. Shows damage to ear drum. Diagnosis permanent hearing loss , referred to Audiologist for hearing aid. I have to date spent approx. $1500 and have not seen audiologist as yet.

While I understand that you should not have incurred additional healthcare costs, ultimately It sounds like you may fully recover.  IF this happens, (and I hope that it does), you would likely spend more on the cost of expert witnesses than could be recovered.  On the other hand, if you discover that you are left with permanent deficits you should contact a local lawyer to evaluate your claim.
