my doctor getting retribution

Asked on Oct 05th, 2012 on Medical Malpractice - Ohio
More details to this question:
I have chronic pain in my right ankle foot area due to a bad fall and break i contacted my doc to get a refill and was told i needed to make an appointment so i did and was told the date. i would have run out of meds before i got to seee him so i asked for a new date and explained that i would run out and was told their was nothing they could do. so i made a complaint to the complaints department so in turn i got a call from him and he was angry so he had me come in to see a nurse. anyway after a couple months he said he was taking me off my meds and not replacing them to control the pain. I said what about the pain he said take an asprin. theres more My question is can i sue the doc for this or do i just let him get away with treating me like this? I hope none of you go through this or maybe i do so you can understand what others go through

Physicians can terminate the doctor patient relationship, as long as they do so in a manner that doesn't constitute abandonment.  That does not sound to be the case here.  The best advice I can offer you is to seek care from another physician unaffiliated with this doctor.
