My father has a bed sore. Do I have a case?

My father laid in a hospital bed without being turned or moved to a chair for 10 days. He now has a stage 4 bed sore. A lady from the wound care dept. in the hospital has came into his room and filed reports and has taken pictures. My father is also a diabetic which makes the wound harder to heal.
