My father is about to have to be hospitalized for Osteomyelitis, do I have a case?

My father is disabled and has been going to wound care every week for a year. He has also had a caretaker come by and change bandaging on his leg weekly as well. The past 5 or 6 weeks he has been running high fevers and chills from the leg issue. Today he was informed he has osteomyelitis and must be hospitalized. This is probably going to be a very long process due to his previous health issues and I have been his caretaker. I feel that there might have been negligence and this whole situation could have been avoided before my father was put into a situation to where he might lose his other leg making it impossible for me to be able to care for him anymore.

I am sorry to hear about the health issues of your father.
Request and review of your father's medical records will need to be made to determine if the standard of care was breached by the physician(s) for not properly treating your father.
