my son was 2 years old and i had a car wreck and he was injured and he was life flighted to the university.

they told me my sons neck was broke but his bones was still soft so there was no break and they said they had to do surgery on the c-1 and c-2 disc on his spine and that he would never walk again well when they did surgery it was c-2 and c-3 they never put a halo on him and took his neck brace off of him, he was on a ventelator and then after all that they layed him prone on an air matress and his vent got a kink in it and he started haveing seziers and he coded and they had to bag him, then the respertory doctor on night shift came in and turned his vent up which cuased his lung to collapse, and mind you that my son was not brain dead he was very alert and they kept telling me that they thought he was brain dead and i needed to pull the plug but they did the ekg,eeg,or catscan which eer one it is that will tell them if he was brain dead tey stopped giving him meds. i then eventually had to take him off life support and i dont have the money to pay for legal services.
