QUESTION

Scoliosis

Asked on Apr 09th, 2019 on Medical Malpractice - Florida
More details to this question:
On February 7th, 2019, I found out that my son is suffering from Scoliosis. Something that could have been treated on time and prevented from getting worse, is no longer and an option. His PCP, who I trusted with my son's health, never took the time to check my son's spine during his yearly physicals. Not even when he complained of lower back pain. It was always brushed off with his overweight. I can't believe how these doctors can miss something so delicate like that. Now my son's dreams of becoming an Airforce pilot are shattered, due to the negligence of his doctor who I entrusted my son's health, his life; because they know best.

Hello Suan, The answer can only be determined by consultation and review your son's medical records. A Personal Injury attorney can help with both to determine if the standard of care was breached and if that breaching caused your son serious Personal Injuries. We cannot solicit you directly, so you will need to reach out.  I am always saddened to hear about damages suffered by children and find it very rewarding to pursue justice on their behalf.
