More details to this question:
My grandmother went in to the emergency room July 24, 2014 presenting with slurred speech and right arm numbness. Without doing any kind of testing. The Neurologist said that it was cancer in her brain. They kept her over night in the hospital. Around 4:00 pm on July 25, 2014 she collapsed in the bathroom. Still she was not hooked up to an IV didn't have any medicine. Finally at 9pm that night they said that she had a stroke and gave her a blood thinner. Her blood pressure at one point was over 200. When they finally did another scan it showed that she had a massive stroke and she had a bleed in her brain. We ended up moving to a different hospital where the doctor there said that she should have been life flighted out when she was in the emergency room. She passed away a week later. This past week I tried to get medical records from the hospital, and they told me that they have the ER notes but not the floor nurses notes from those few days she was there.

No. Unless you are a lawyer, you have no basis to do so. This is a wrongful death case and they are very complicated and require a lawyer to prosecute. If you have other questions, please fee free to contact our office at 1-800-922-6442 for a FREE consultation.
