I had a bunion surgery on Nov. 12, 2021with screws put in. 3 days later I had an emergency surgery as screws were coming out & Wires put in. 2 weeks later wires had to be removed as they were coming out. It has been vlose to 4 months & I am not healed. My podiatrist says wear boot and keep using bone stimulator. Does not want to do another surgery. Says it will take time to heal. I went to an orthopedic surgeon. My recent CT scan shows a gap in the bone of 8 mm. He says surgery needed as bones will never heal with that large a gap. Surgery will require bone graphs. Currently hurts to walk, Constant pain. Foot swells. Big toe sticking up so hard to wear any of my shoes. My balance off due to big toe.
