QUESTION

suing for an unnecessary c-section

Asked on Feb 21st, 2016 on Medical Malpractice - Florida
More details to this question:
back in 93 with the birth of my first child I developed toxemia and was admitted to the hospital for a whole week prior to the c-section birth of my son who was breech. for my second pregnancy I realized that there was a doctor less than 2 hours away that turned the baby in the womb and allowed for a vaginal birth. Now I'm 47 years old with a sagging lower stomach due to a c-section scar that didn't need to happen. I find it hard to believe that this very knowledgeable doctor did not know that this procedure was available. My c-section was not an emergency. I could have been shipped to hospital that performed the turning of the child and had him vaginally. I believe the doctor was greedy, wanting the easy money for the c-section
