Urology issue

More details to this question:
I had laser Green light surgury for benign Prostate Hyperplasia. After 5 months i had urinary retention. I was told i had ti use intermittent catheterization i followed what Dr. Said. My Bladder doesn't work. So i continued to cath i am on disability and now after 8 years yesterday i have a urologist tell me after a cystosopy. That it didn't work . His words i would get your money back .Now how do i react to that ...after I have been disabled and misled for years. Now i need to have a Prostate resection done to see if they can correct the damage the first doctor did. Do I have a case.....

You only have 2 years from the date you knew or should have known of the medical negligence and at most 4 years from the date of the procedure.  From these facts, if not enough to determine if the sol has expired.  But, you would need to get all the medical records, and obtain a medical opinion that there was negligence.  This is a question for a medical expert, and thus if you have a case, depends on many factors and an expert opinion.  Seek advice of a lawyer.
