What is the statute of limitation for filing a wrongful death(medical malpractice) suit in Georgia?

My sister had surgery in 2008 for a tear in her aortic arch (had a replacement aortic arch inserted). Was admitted to a different hospital in 2009 with an infection (MRSA) that lead to her death one month later. They were never able to stablize her enough to take her back to surgery to remove the graft. I am just seeing the death certificate identifying the cause of death.
