no noticeable bulge around belly. Apparent hernia was identified from failed hernia mesh implant. Surgery was performed but within a day had redness identified 3 days later as infection under skin. Given antibiotics and in 7 days redness disappeared. Told doctor after 2 weeks that belly button is sticking out but he said you will have to allow swelling to go down and it will return. A lot of swelling lasted approximately 4 weeks. Except for an area above belly button there was a bulge that was noticed when swelling went down around it. Belly button was still sticking out. Got a ct scan which identified a hernia was still present in which doctor agreed and apologized for the failure and that was it. Hernia surgery resulted in a worse condition than when i started.
