More details to this question:
I requested funding through a funding company, at wich point my attorney took it upon himself not to tell the funders about this side of my case because they didn't want them involved. 2 weeks later the case is settled and I still cannot get phone calls or cooperation from my attorney.

Send your lawyer a written request for him to address all your issues by a deadline, or explain you will have to get a replacement and perhaps file a complaint with the state bar association.
