Hi, I was in a car accident on 4/8/2019 it did not involve another vehicle, I was getting off interstate 295 onto hwy 17 and it was a rainy day. When I got off my right tire hit a little bit of grass and then my car started spiraling outta control and it ended up hitting a palm tree straight on running about 30 mph. My air bags did not deploy and I ended up with 2 broken vertebras in my back. T7 & T12 my insurance is paying 80% of my medical bills and the Dr at the er said if my air bags would of deployed I would not of ended up with a broken back. It's crucial. I also had to apply for disability to because its gonna take awhile for my injuries to heal. I might even have to.have surgery. I'll know more on that when I go see the spine neurological doctor on the 24th. Do I have a case from my air bags not deploying?
Hello Demita,
You very well may have a viable products liability case, and along those lines, please make sure to preserve intact the vehicle, as it will need to be tested by an expert on your behalf. Contact a Personal Injury Attorney so that requests can be made for preservation of evidence, download of the event data recorder and inspecition can be performed as soon as possible so that a proper investigation can be conducted and any malfunction in the air bag system detected. We cannot solicit potential clients, so you will need to reach out for consultation.
