QUESTION

Air bags did not deploy after a front end collasion

Asked on May 10th, 2014 on Automobile Accidents - Kentucky
More details to this question:
I gad a 2012 hybryd Toyota Camry and recent it was recalled for "Water from the air-conditioning condenser unit housing could leak onto the airbag control module and cause a short circuit, resulting in illumination of the airbag warning light," said Toyota in a statement on Thursday. "In some instances, the airbag(s) could become disabled or could inadvertently deploy". After this issue was fixed I was in an accident which totaled my car with extensive front end damage. Could they have done something that prevented the air bags from deploying?

Possibly the dealer could do something. But were you hurt? Who is your lawyer handling the case. Ask him/her to check out the failed airbag issue.
