QUESTION

Am I violating my unsupervised probation if the alcohol evaluation was not yet completed?

Asked on Apr 22nd, 2014 on Personal Injury - Georgia
More details to this question:
I have been on unsupervised probation for a reckless driving charge, and it ended on April 13, 2014. I was supposed to do 24 hours of community service and complete an alcohol evaluation. I did the community service hours but the alcohol evaluation, apparently hasn't been completed yet as of today, April 22, 2014. I found out this information too late and still paid the remaining balance and have a phone interview to finish my evaluation on April 23, 2014. I was unaware of this the last time I was there which was last year. I thought everything was done except the fine. Am I violating my unsupervised probation? How strict would the DA be if I told him this information? Would I have to go to court or even worse, jail? Would I be put on supervised probation or just have to pay a fine? I haven't gotten into any trouble throughout the whole probation.

Until you complete that alcohol evaluation, you have NOT fulfilled your probation. Get it done ASAP.

Why don't you talk to your probation officer. You are in default of course but the PO is the one who reports you back to court.
