my daughter was rear ended by a police officer making a emergency run with lights on. my daughter was in left lane and could not get over to the right nor could she go to the left due to cars sitting in drives. police hit her in the rear. a ms hy patrol traffic invetigator said there was 6 items incorrect on form but they refuse to fix. they want to make it no fault.
You do have an obligation to allow a police car that is dealing with an emergency to pass you. However, if you can show there was honestly nothing you could do, then that is a different story. I suggest you contact an experienced personal injury lawyer in MS. He or she can ask the right questions to determine whether you may have a valid claim.
