QUESTION

AutoHit & Run

Asked on May 16th, 2016 on Automobile Accidents - Wisconsin
More details to this question:
In December, while driving my car with my toddler granddaughter, I was hit by a speeding car on North Avenue in Wauwatosa. The driver of the car, which was stolen, crashed a parked car then fled on foot. I am insured, and yet I lost several thousand dollars in car replacement and rentals. My granddaughter and I were not physically injured. To my knowledge they have not caught the driver, although local rumor has it that they know who it is. I need to know what type of legal representation I need.

If you have automobile insurance and no one was hurt, simply have your insurance company take care of the property damage to your vehicle and related expenses, less your deductible. You do not need an attorney to handle this, in my opinion.
