QUESTION

Back injury

Asked on Sep 13th, 2013 on Personal Injury - Texas
More details to this question:
A number of years ago I was asked by our company CEO to come to his house to help him setup his computer so he could connect to the internal network and email. As the computer was new we had to run the cables. However, the desk he had did not have holes for cables. He said to me, "You are younger, go under the table and lift it with your back and pull the cables through. As I did so, I heard a pop in my back and a very sharp pain. I could not move the rest of that day nor Sunday, I hurt it on Saturday. On Monday I went to the Dr and he said I had a bulging disk. I was off work for a week, but as I work a lot of comp hours, it was ok that I worked from home for a week while getting physical therapy and taking Vicodin and Flexeril. I have always had problems with my back, but in the past few years it has gotten worse and I am in pain most of the time. It is too late to do anything about it now?

In Texas, you have two years from the date of the original injury to either file your lawsuit or have settled the claim. So, if it is longer than two years and no lawsuit filed, it would be too late. Feel free to discuss further, 281-643-2000.
