Being sued for dog bites

More details to this question:
I spoke with a attorney when this happened because the neighbors dog tried to get in my yard and made a hole in bottom of my fence. were my dog was able to squeeze threw. The neighbor got bit because he got between the dogs laying on his dog so my dog couldnt get him. he was face first to his dog. the attorny told me not to worry because I have no assets. I am on disability . So then they tried to get liability insurance from me I have none I rent. Then they tried to get from home owner. Now I was served a liability claim for 100,000.00

Not sure what the question was - but the facts seem pretty standard. You are responsible for the acts of your animal.
