QUESTION

Blackmailed after a Hit and Run, Now what?

Asked on Apr 20th, 2014 on Automobile Accidents - Georgia
More details to this question:
On Friday at 7PM my boyfriends room mate drove into my truck and did damage, he then proceeded to drive off yelling profanities at me. He later returned that night and confronted my boyfriend, pushing him and initiating physical contact and it led into a physical altercation. The following morning the room mates mother came and stated that if I proceeded to tell my insurance about the hit and run that they would file an assault charge on my boyfriend. She also tried to deny damage and started touching my car, taking pictures not of the damage but of my license plate and VIN number. She again stated she was keeping those pictures after I asked her to delete them. The room mate then told me he wasn't paying for the damage. I recorded the conversation after the altercation where the room mate states he did in fact hit my boyfriend first. I feel threatened by the room mate since he's been arrested and involved with drugs. What can I do?
