bodily injury and status of limitation

More details to this question:
I was involved ina car accident (the other driver's fault) on Dec. 26, 2011; I am trying to settle with the insurance company (sent my HIPAA form in OCt. 2013); the adjuster just called saying that they contacted the providers but did not hear from ost of them; they are offering me peanuts; the adjuster said if I do not settle before the DEC 26, 2013 deadline, then I do not have a claim. Is this true

The adjuster is somewhat correct.  The statute of limitations in Virginia is two years from the date of the collision.  You have to settle your claim or file a lawsuit to protect your rights before the two year anniversary from the accident.  I strongly suggest that you immediately hire an auto accident lawyer in the city/county where the collision occurred to file a lawsuit to protect your rights.  Good luck with this matter.
