QUESTION

Can I get a judgment against me for an auto accident dismissed?

Asked on Feb 23rd, 2013 on Personal Injury - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I had an ex-girlfriend’s daughter take my car in PA in2003. She was in a minor accident. I've made numerous calls to attempt to get my license back (as far as fines are concerned). I found out about a lien on myself for this accident because the car was registered to me. If I didn't give permission for the use of my car and can prove it with my incarceration, would I still be responsible to pay this judgement? It is my understanding that the daughter already started making payments. Can they make both of us pay?

What a mess. Too little information. You can't get judgments against you unless you were sued. How did you miss that? You need to find how somebody got a judgment against you without you being there. There is a procedure to open a default judgment.
