Can i get compensated for pain and suffering

More details to this question:
I was hit by a car while riding a bike. The driver has personal injury protection, but not bodily injury insurance. Should I still be compensated for pain and suffering. If i have proof of medical pills.

Unless there is bodily injury insurance or some UM coverage from a car you own that covers you, your entitled to those damages, BUT they will come from the other person directly. if they dont have the money, you simply wont get it from them.
