Can I still do anything?

Asked on Jan 18th, 2013 on Automobile Accidents - Nevada
More details to this question:
I was in a car accident in December of 2009 and didn't know that my injuries would cause me problems this long afterwards, so I never did anything about it. Someone told me I waited too long. Is that true?

The statute of limitations in Nevada for personal injury claims is generally two years. There are exceptions to the rule if you were under the age of 18 at the time of the accident. You may also be able to make a claim for underinsured motorist coverage up to six years after an auto accident. Give our office call. We are here to help.
