QUESTION

Can I sue for no airbags deployed?

Asked on Jan 07th, 2016 on Personal Injury - Oklahoma
More details to this question:
My wife recently got a brand new 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 and only had it for a month, last week, she was heading to Dodge to get her first free oil change. As she was heading up there, she slid on ice and lost all control. She rolled her truck over thick wire that separates the median from the other side of the highway. The cable barrier entered her truck and took off her whole left arm not even a shoulder. She has a brain hemorrhage, a c-7 fracture in her neck, four broken ribs, and broke and fractured bones in her right arm. She is currently in trauma and has had 5 surgeries on her left arm she doesn't have. I feel like if they would deployed while the truck was rolling I feel like it would've helped out a little.

Very sorry to hear of her injuries. First, do not let the insurance company total the truck and take possession of it. ?Any evidence of faulty equipment exists in that truck and you do not want it to disappear. They can total it, but you can and should accept a lesser amount and retain the truck. You will need a place to store it as well as pay to get it to that place. Hire counsel. Only hire counsel who has prior experience with pursuing faulty airbag issues.
