I agree with attorney Gold. Your best claim is against your friend and the owner of the vehicle which is the rental car company. Discuss in private with counsel here in Florida. Get well fast and remember to seek medical attention within 14 days of your accident.

Hello Joseph. Hope you are doing ok. The practicality of sueing Ford will depend upon the magnitude and extent of your injuries and the front end damage sustained by the truck. Airbags are designed to mitigate the event of catastrophic injuries. Hopefully not you and you were seat belted. You appear to have a good claim against your friend, Enterprise and any other at fault party. In addition, you may qualify for Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage benfits. You are entitled to PIP through several possibilities of coverage.  Have a private consultation with a Personal Injury/Car Accident attorney. Many of us practice statewide and offer free initial consultations.
