QUESTION

Can I sue my child's dentist for pulling out the wrong teeth?

Asked on Jan 05th, 2015 on Personal Injury - Utah
More details to this question:
My child needed to have a couple teeth pulled as a result of crowding and impacted canine. We got home from the appointment and he pulled 2 of the wrong teeth so now he needs to go back because the one on each side he needed pulled didn't get pulled, which now will result in him having 1 back molar to chew with for 1-2 years till the others come in on both sides.

Yes, I think you do have a potential malpractice case against the dentist for pulling out the wrong teeth of your child. The case potential is strengthened by the fact that he will have a hard time chewing food for the next 1-2 years until other molars come in. Contact an injury lawyer to discuss the potential case in a free evaluation. All the best to you and especially your son during this challenging time.
