Asked on Jul 02nd, 2014 on Personal Injury - Florida
More details to this question:
Last August 2013, I started having bad medical issues and ended up with the hospital sending me home for follow up with primary doctor. After running around with my medical issue which always ends up with my former primary doctor. Long story short, he missed Lyme disease and my last visit was in October 2013. He told my psychiatrist that nothing is wrong with me. I didn't give up and found a great doctor who tested me positive with Lyme disease, lots of infection and viruses. I lost my job I'm in so much pain and I don't know when I'll be able to work. He could have treated this back in August with a bottle of antibiotics. Do I have any chance to win this case?

That is not a question I can answer, but what I would do is contact an attorney who handles a lot of medical malpractice cases, and if he's willing to take your case, he will pay to have a physician review your medical records to determine whether the doctor deviated from the standard of care.
