Can I sue the county for the bad sidewalks and bad lighting, which caused me to trip?

Can I sue the county for the bad sidewalks and bad lighting, which caused me to trip on a curb at the corner which had no lighting for me to see where I was going? I tripped and fractured the right side of my face, fractured my right wrist, and damaged my left leg so I could not walk for a month, then another month before I could walk without severe pain. Can I sue the county for the terrible sidewalk system they have? I would gladly walk up and down both sides of the road to film the bad sidewalks which are unsafe. Including so many of the walk signals at intersections that have been taken out in accidents and not replaced, for months. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Samantha Svensson
