I got into a accident involving my vehicle and I rental car. I got put at fault even though the other driver ran a yellow light and was also not over 21 with a learner's permit.now the rental car company wants me to pay.

Sounds like the officer didn't buy your version of the facts. That stated, tickets are not admissible in civil court so you can always challege the situation and make a claim of your own. I actually handled a similar case recently and successfully reversed the results with a settlement in my client's favor.

If you have not already done so, immediately report this accident to your auto insurer so that they may begin their own investigation.
