car accident

More details to this question:
I was stopped at a stop sign with a car behind me. a third car hit the car behind me driving the car in my rear into my car causing 5000 dollars in damage. the driver of the car that hit the car behind left his car and ran away. the insurance company of the car that hit me said they have no lability and i would pay for the damage to my car is this true

If the accident happened the way you described, then the vehicle behind you would not be liable.  If you had uninsured motorist or collision coverage on your insurance, then your only real option is to file a claim on your own policy to get your car fixed.
