More details to this question:
On June 08, I got rear ended by another vehicule. I didnt want to go on the ambulance because I didnt feel anything at the moment. A couple of days passed and my neck started to freeze. So when the insurance called about the accident I told  them how I felt and that I wantef to see the doctor. They gave me a claim number to follow up on their website. It only work two times After I got deny acces. In one of the times I told them that I wasnt going to be at my driver license adress,  To contact me by email or phone. Well I never got contact until now because they open up the website with my claim  Number and it showed $0.0 compensation. So I email them through the website complaining, saying that no one call me for medical treatment. They say they try to contact me but I dont know if its true or not. I never got a phonecall or email from them. So now they want to compensate me $500 but No Medical treatment. They say that if I would had been really hurt , I should have look for a doctor.

Dear Anonymous: When you get in a car accident in North Carolina, the law says that a jury may award you compensatory damages if the jury finds that the other driver(s) were negligent and your injuries were caused by the car accident. You can get compensatory damages for your medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Unfortunately, if you didn’t seek medical treatment, you cannot be compensated for any medical bills. It is also difficult to show pain and suffering when there is no medical treatment. Since a significant time has passed since the car accident, there is what we call a “gap in treatment.” Insurance companies often times do not compensate for any medical treatment when there is a gap in treatment, so any treatment you receive may not be compensable.
