QUESTION

Car crash?

Asked on May 24th, 2020 on Automobile Accidents - Connecticut
More details to this question:
So I got in a car crash about 2 years ago, and I was in the back seat and had hit my jaw on the front passenger seat upon impact. I had fled the scene worried about my parents finding out about the crash and have them worried even more. I called one of my other friends and he picked me up brought me home gushing blood, and told my mother that I slipped on ice. I had about 10 stitches, and to this day still have problems with my jaw. The other person we crashed into was completely their fault and were sued by my friends family's. Since I fled the scene, the police had me as an unidentified person on the police reports. I am looking to get checked for my jaw to see if I have problems, but I wanted to know if I did, if I am able to get any compensation from this incident.
