QUESTION

Cops don't want to pay

Asked on Mar 16th, 2016 on Automobile Accidents - Florida
More details to this question:
My fiance and I were headed towards St. Augustine, Florida. We became a part of a wreck when my fiance tried to avoid it. She came to a stop between the far left and middle lane. All cars behind us had stopped at that point. But a Sebring which was hit by a Jacksonville Police black dodge charger, this was the wreck we were trying to avoid, came in reverse over my fiances car and knocked us backwards behind a red Ford that the police officer hit in the first of the wreck. The police officer then drove their vehicle towards the far right lane. I believed that since there were cameras on the highway, it would prove the police had caused the wreck and we would be fine. Sadly, the police wrote a ticket out and have put it off on my fiance and said the entire thing is her fault. But she honestly, came in at the end and hit no one. The Lawyer from Harrell & Harrell said they will not take our case, after two weeks of not saying anything. What do we do?
