Could I possibly have a case for a wrongful death lawsuit?

More details to this question:
My mother was an employee of Norfolk Southern and was shot and killed on her way in to work by another employee of Norfolk Southern. Her attacker was in his office at Norfolk Southern and when he noticed my mother coming in to work he left his office and attacked her outside the building. This incident occurred November 20, 2013 at Norfolk Southern Offices in Atlanta, Ga. This incident happened around 7:00 am and there were witnesses.

Your question depends on a number of factors.  But, yes, most anytime there is a murder committed, a wrongful death claim will be possible.
