QUESTION

Do I have a case? 2 broken teeth from foreign object in food

Asked on Feb 07th, 2013 on Personal Injury - Georgia
More details to this question:
Purchased food from the deli in a store. Bit down onto a 2 1/2 inch long metal rod which broke 2 of my teeth and jabbed into the side of my jaw causing quite a bit of bleeding. I immediately went back to the store and took the remaining part of the food along with the metal rod and spoke to the manager. He went back to the Deli to see if anything matched up with the metal rod. He came back and told me that he found the broken metal rack that matched the piece of metal I bit into. He took pictures of the metal rack and I kept the piece. The insurance company of the store contacted me and got a verbal statement of what happened and the manager gave his statement, which both matched up. I signed a consent form to get medical records sent to them for review concerning this. They told me they would review everything and decide if they were going to assume liability. I currently have over $2,000 in dental bills.

You do have a case worth looking into by an attorney.  I represented a police officer in 2011 with a similar situation- foreign object in food from fast food restaurant- and was able to recover money for him.   I would need to know more about your case, but if you would like to cover it in more detail, I am happy to do so.   You can email or call me through my profile or at evan@zwdefense.com.
