Asked on Oct 13th, 2014 on Slip and Fall - California
More details to this question:
I was at the grocery store with my husband at about 4 am, there was still some stocking if the shelves going on but not the isle I fell on. I went down the isle by myself and made it about half way when my feet came out from under me and I landed in my shoulder. The ambulance was called by a store employee. When i arrived at the hospital it was determined that I dislocated my shoulder which they put back in place but now I have 2 fingers and some of my palm that feel like they are asleep. My Dr is saying nerve damage... Do I have a case??

What dangerous condition of the grocery store caused you to fall?  An owner of the store has a duty to keep the premises in a safe condition.  You would have to prove that the fall was caused by a dangerous condition (such as a substance of the floor) and that the owner new or should have known of that condition.  The latter is proved by lack of inspection procedures.  What caused you to fall?
