QUESTION

Do I have a case?

Asked on Oct 19th, 2014 on Automobile Accidents - Florida
More details to this question:
I had a tooth extracted last Thursday, I was given nitrous to help with the procedure. I asked if I needed a driver, was told no. Less than 5 minutes after the procedure, I was told I could leave on my own. I didn't even get out of the parking lot, passed out and slammed into a tree. The sheriff, ems workers, nurses and dr's could not believe that they let me go. Do I have any right to make them pay for my truck, medical bills, etc?

Possibly, but this would best be determined by a tox screen from the hospital. Typically, nitrous oxide stops affecting you, at the level that you would pass out and slam into a tree, within a few minutes after you are disconnected from the source.
