You have a good case for negligence as windows do not fall out except for someone having been negligent in putting them in, but if it involved just one hospital trip the case is not worth much more than the bill and a very small amount for pain and suffering (a few hundred dollars at most).

Without additional details an evaluation is not possible. You really need to consult an attorney to calculate a fair number for your injuries.

The question is why did the window fall? Who's fault was it? Did you contribute to your injuries? Good luck.

I had a case like this a number of years ago, and it looked pretty good when it came in, but things turned out differently than I had hoped. Thats why you need an experienced lawyer. BTW, do you know that you asked what you should be asking for but you didn't even mention what injuries you have, or even if you were injured at all.

It depends on your damages and injuries. And you have to determine who all was responsible for the window falling.

You have to prove negligence. Can you prove it. you did not indicate you had a serious injury. if you don't forget it.

If you did not cause the window to fall over, then you probably have a case against the property manager. To claim against the hospital, you would have to prove either that THEIR employee caused the window to fall over, or that they had actual or constructive notice that the window was unstable.

The owner of the building where the window was to be installed and the company preparing to install the window should be liable for your injuries. The value of your case is dependent upon many factors. The most important factors being the nature and extent of your injuries and your prognosis. The better the prognosis, the less the value, the worse the prognosis, the better the value. Again, the foregoing is dependent upon the specifics of the incident.
