More details to this question:
i fell in a king kullen store and broke my nose After 5 yrs passed my attorney told me we didn''t have a good case. That he couldn''t get an expert''s opinion to determine that the door that hit me was not working properly. The day after the accident I took a video of the bathroom door to show that the door was slamming shut instead of closing in increments. There was showing the entie a store monitor right on that door. showing the entire accident. What happened to that? What took five years to tell lme we didn''t have a good case. We settled the case for $4500, of whichmedicare got $666, the attorney got $2300 and i GOT $1591.

Expert opinion is commonly required to prove negligence. As for what happened to the video, ask the attorney. As for the fees, it would appear medicare was entitled to certain monies, the attorney got his percentage and reimbursement of expenses, and you likely received the remainder.
