QUESTION

Do I now have a hit and run record?

Asked on May 01st, 2014 on Personal Injury - Washington
More details to this question:
I went to take the driving test but when I drove out my car to take the test, I hit a car in the parking lot. I was too panicked since I was taking the test so I drove to the testing zone nearby to take my test. The hit car's owner then came to take the information of the insurance. I don't own the car or insurance but my friend do. He then talked with the car's owner and the car's owner said that he would not report to the police. My test was cancelled and I was rescheduled. So was I recorded with a hit and run?

I doubt it but you probably will be unless you pay for what damage you caused.

If it was not reported to the police, then no you do not have an infraction.
