Do I possibly have a wrongful death case if my Son overdosed at a known drug abusers house and later died?

More details to this question:
My Son had started hanging out with a known drug addict and overdosed at her Parent's house where she lived as well. No one went to the Hospital with him from this house and the contents of his wallet were missing. The Police have not yet been able to explain to me where the contents of his wallet may have gone. My Son did stupid things every now and again ,but he honestly was not a drug addict. I'm not just saying that because he was my Son. If he had been an addict this would be a little easier to understand. My Son's brain went without oxygen for 45 minutes even though this "Family" told the Police that they immediately began CPR. Five days before my Son died he reached out to this girl's Brother in Florida via Facebook Messenger to ask him to help his Sister ( The Brother is reported to be a recovering addict) My Son was raising his 3 year old Daughter. He had full physical custody. He left behind so much and I want justice.
This is terribly sad, I am so sorry. What did he overdose on? If it was an opioid, he may have a case. Need to know what exactly he overdosed on... if a prescription opioid, was it prescribed to him? For what?
