Rainy day, my wife walked into Walgreen's. She walked into an aisle in the back of the store , she then slipped , and fell to the ground. She is 8 months pregnant. A woman passing, saw her on the ground, ran to the front and grabbed the manager. The manager came, to help my wife up. a few moments later a store associate with a mop came to the aisle and ran back to the pharmacy area to grab a wet floor sign. The wetness on the floor was caused by the associate moping, as you could see the mop strokes. Paramedics came, checked her out. Her vitals were okay, however , being pregnant I met her at the hospital 5 minutes later, she was admitted ,and found she had some small hemorrhaging near the placenta. She was released that night. NO signs, a mopped aisle, the person mopping was in a different aisle mopping. do we have a claim
Yes you may have a claim. Its critical to retain counsel so a preservation of evidence letter can go out demanding the store preserve any video clips of the fall which they most likely have. Discuss with counsel.
